Before you ask

Questions about the templates.

Are the templates really free?
Yes. Fill one in, edit it and download the PDF without an account. Your own logo, the charts and the at-a-glance page are all included. You can email the PDF to yourself too. The free PDF has a small Prepared with Coverbound footer.
What do the charts show?
Whatever the report's figures say: premium last year against this year by class, where the premium goes, what makes up the total, claims by policy year, quotes by insurer and how the market responded. Each template draws the ones that fit it, straight from what you enter. Word can't draw them for you.
What does the free trial add?
Your colours, fonts and licence details with no footer, saving and reusing next year, Word export, sending for e-signature and AI that fills the report from last year's policy schedule. The trial is 14 days of the full Coverbound app with no card needed. If you don't carry on, your account turns read-only and nothing is deleted. The templates themselves stay free.
Which rules are they written for?
The Australian templates follow the Insurance Brokers Code of Practice 2022, the Corporations Act and the Insurance Contracts Act. The UK templates follow the FCA's ICOBS rules, the Insurance Act 2015, CIDRA 2012 and the Consumer Duty.
Can I change the wording?
Yes. Every template opens in Coverbound's document editor, so you can rewrite any section, add your own and remove what you don't need.
Who is responsible for the advice?
You are. The templates are a starting point, not legal or compliance advice. You remain responsible for the advice you give under your AFSL or FRN.
