Quote and wording comparison
Every insurer's offer, side by side.
coverbound reads each insurer's quote and policy wording, then lines them up against the expiring policy. You see what's broader, what's narrower and the page it says so. Then it drops straight into the document your client signs.

Brightco · Public and Products Liability
Quotes lined up, against what they have now
Quotes recorded under Market results line up on the placement's Compare tab. Up to four offers plus the expiring policy.
- Premium broken down, from base premium to total payable
- Limits, sums insured, sub-limits and excesses on one row each
- Subjectivities and quote expiry, so nothing catches you out at binding
- Commission is compared for you and never printed
Claims notification
Wording comparison · Conditions
“You must tell us as soon as reasonably practicable after you become aware of an occurrence.”
“Notice must be given to us within 30 days of the occurrence.”
A fixed deadline is stricter for the client. Missing it can cost the claim.
Wordings compared clause by clause
Insurers put the same cover under different headings. coverbound reads every wording against one list of topics, so like sits beside like.
- Insuring clauses, extensions, exclusions and conditions
- Broader, narrower or different, explained in plain English
- Every finding quotes the wording word for word, with a link to the page
- The rows to read first are marked, like flood, average and defence costs
Flood
Harbour Mutual against the expiring policy
Flood is capped at $250,000 here. Worth weighing for the riverside site.
Asked the underwriter to lift the flood limit.
Terrorism · Not found. That isn’t the same as not covered. Check the wording.
You review it. You decide what the client sees.
- Open any row to see every insurer's words side by side
- Add a note for the client that prints under the row
- Keep an internal note that never leaves coverbound
- Approve the comparison and it's frozen for the client document

Our recommendation
Straight into the client document
Once the comparison is approved, Create document offers the comparison and recommendation template first. No copying tables into Word.
- The approved comparison fills the document, with your notes under each row
- Your recommendation and the premium table sit beside it
- Templates for Australia and the UK with the right notices built in
- The client signs on their phone and instructs you to bind
Step by step
From quotes in to signed, in one flow.
Attach each insurer's quote and wording from the placement's files, the library or an upload. coverbound reads them and lines them up.
Pick the comparison and recommendation template. The approved comparison, your notes and the premium table fill in.
The client reads the options on their phone, signs and instructs you to bind. The bind task appears straight away.
Built not to mislead
- It never recommends an insurer. The recommendation is yours.
- Silent is not the same as excluded. A topic it can't find shows as Not found, never Not covered.
- Every amount must appear in the quoted words. Anything it can't show you is marked Could not verify.
- Higher limits and lower excesses are worked out by rule, not guessed
- Change an offer after approval and you're told to run it again
- Your edits are kept beside the AI's original

On the placement

Or a one-off
Start a quick comparison from AI Tools and link it to a program later.
Read once, used again
A wording you've read goes into your library, ready for the next client on the same product.
Scans are fine
PDF or Word, up to 25 MB. Scanned pages are transcribed before they're compared.
Differences first
The grid opens on what differs. Switch to every row or one section at a time.
Try it with samples

Before you ask
Questions about comparisons.
- Does it tell the client which insurer to choose?
- No. It lines up the differences and explains them. The recommendation in the document is yours to write.
- What if a wording doesn't mention something?
- It shows Not found, never Not covered. A wording can be silent, so the row asks you to check.
- Which classes of cover can it compare?
- Public and products liability. Property with business interruption. Both for Australia and the UK.
- Where do the documents come from?
- Files already on the placement, your library or an upload. Offers from Market results appear on their own.
